One of the most successful English chintz producing potteries was Grimwades Ltd which was started by Leonard Grimwade, in 1885, at the Winton Pottery, Stock-on-Trent. As chintz patterns became popular, Grimwade developed chintz designs eventually under the trade name Royal Winton. From 1913 through the next 40+ years, Grimwades Ltd produced over 60+ chintz patterns for which the company became well known. Many of these patterns are still popular with the English china collector today. Browse our current selection of original Royal Winton chintz tea cup sets!
