Royal Winton Pink Hibiscus Mottled Ware Antique Tea Cup

ONE AVAILABLE
Royal Winton Mottled Ware was first produced during the war years, 1939+. It was occasionally used on the molded flower patterns instead of the pastel colorings. Hibiscus is one of the molded flower patterns. It was introduced in the early 1950s from the Honey Lily mold. The difference is in the hand painting of the flower. Hibiscus flowers are pale pink shading to dark pink - see additional picture below. Honey Lily is pink with yellow streaks and brown mottling. Our authentic Royal Winton Pink Hibiscus Mottled Tea Cup & Saucer is dated by its mark to 1950-1963. Although the color of this set is considered pink, we would describe it as ruby. The cup and saucer are in fair to good condition with clear colors, minor wear to the gold edging, heavy crazing/tea staining to cup, and no chips, cracks or repairs. We include a card with the maker, pattern name when known, any history we can ascertain and the approximate age of the set. It makes a lovely gift! Hand wash recommended.
Old Royal Lorna Doone Chintz Antique Tea Cup Trio

ONE AVAILABLE
This delightful bird & floral chintz was popular among many English potteries and sold under different pattern names. Midwinter alone sold it under two different names: Lorna Doone & Bird Chintz. However, we could not find Old Royal's name for this lovely pattern. So, for its whimsical appeal, we stuck with the name Lorna Doone. This Old Royal Lorna Doone chintz cup, saucer and plate is dated by its mark to circa 1945-1963. It is in very good condition with good clear color, good gold edging, some crazing and no chips, cracks or repairs. We include a card with the maker, pattern name when known, any history we can ascertain and the approximate age of the set. It makes a lovely gift! Handwash recommended.
Moore Brothers Blue Chintz Antique Tea Cup Trio

ONE AVAILABLE
Sweet as country calico, this blue wheat and floral chintz was first registered in 1888! Note the fancy handle and fluted cup. This charming thin china Moore Brothers blue chintz cup, saucer and plate date conservatively by its mark to circa 1888-1905. The Moore Bros. mark was no longer used after 1905. The word England was added after 1891 creating the possibility this set is dated 1888-1891. Either way, she's a lovely old lady! This set is in fair condition with good clear color, well matched chintz, minor gold loss and crazing, no chips, a tight VERTICAL HAIRLINE CRACK at the cup edge approximately 3/4" in length. Please Note: The handle has a manufacturer defect where it attaches to the cup. See picture below. The set makes an excellent addition to a collection with very limited and careful use. We include a card with the maker, pattern name when known, any history we can ascertain and the approximate age of the set. It makes a lovely gift! Hand wash recommended. Made in England. One Available.
